Mocktail of the month (November)

This year’s holiday season is on full-blast, don’t ya think?! Target appears to have forgotten there is a holiday between Halloween and Christmas, given that the North Pole set up shop at the stroke of midnight on November 1st. Commercials are already belting out Christmas tunes and cheer. And ugly sweaters are EVERYWHERE!

C’mon, people! What happened to giving thanks and being grateful all November long??

Well, one way I’m staying the (grateful) course and calm is by enjoying my new monthly mix- a tasty Cinnamon Maple Mocktail. Simple, sweet and a treat for all!

Cinnamon Maple Mocktail

Cinnamon Maple Mocktail

(Makes 1 serving)


  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp pure maple
  • 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp pure maple
  • 2 Tbsp (homemade) cinnamon simple syrup


  1. Mix the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl. In a second bowl, pour in the teaspoon of pure maple. Rim a glass with the maple followed by the cinnamon and sugar bliss.
  2. Add ice to the glass.
  3. Pour in the milk, maple, and cinnamon syrup.
  4. Stir and enjoy!
