Mocktail of the month (October)

Living a sober lifestyle does not equate to living a boring or tasteless lifestyle. In fact, I’ve noticed my tastebuds have been gifted with all sorts of excitement because- surprise, surprise! You can actually fully taste and appreciate flavors when you’re not altering your state of mind!

Because of this new discovery, I’ve become a bit of mixologist in the kitchen. And I thought it might be fun to share these little pieces of sober heaven (once-a-month) with YOU!

So kickin’ off my first “Mocktail of the Month” is this festive Fall favorite that the whole family can enjoy!

Apple Cider Crisp Mocktail

Apple Cider Crisp Mocktail

(makes 2 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz sparkling apple cider
  • 4 oz grape juice
  • 4 oz ginger ale
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 Tbsp agave nectar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp sugar

Mix the sparkling cider, grape juice, and ginger ale into a small pitcher. Then add the diced apples.

Next, mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Rim your fancy glass of choice with the agave nectar and then with the cinnamon and sugar.

Pour in the Fall sweetness (apples included) and enjoy!!
